First wave of huge public opinion poll had been conducted in June, 2017 in four country: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. 6 000 people participated to the survey.
At least 1,9% people speak Uzbek language at home in Central Asian countries.
According to the survey, the Russian language is spoken at home by more than a half of Kazakhstan’s population.
Majority of Kyrgyzstan speak Kyrgyz language.
In Tajikistan, almost no one uses the Russian language at home, while the Uzbek language is spoken by one-fifth of the population.
Most inhabitants of Uzbekistan prefer to speak Uzbek language at home.
