28 Mar “New Horizons for Strategic Partnership and Integration”
The highlights of the 4th wave of Central Asia Barometer’s large research conducted jointly with research and consulting company M-Vector were presented at the pitch session of the 8th Russian-Kyrgyz Interregional Conference “New Horizons for Strategic Partnership and Integration”, which is being held in Bishkek on March 27-28, 2019.
Nail Haybulin, M-Vector’s CEO, presented “Highlights of Central Asia”, which includes the opinions of citizens of the Central Asian countries regarding the EAEU, attitudes towards Russian Federation, perceptions and people’s economic expectations for the coming year.
Business representatives of both countries, the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation attend the event.
Plenary sessions and thematic round tables are going within the conference; participants discuss potential of integration within the EAEU, cooperation on the digital agenda, usage of digital technologies in the agro industrial complex and perspectives on cooperation in the financial sector.
The event is also platform for an exchange of business contacts and a seminar “Promotion of Products to the Russian and Kyrgyz Markets”.
According to information, 700-800 people participate in the conference.
The main topics of discussions at event are trade, economic and industrial cooperation within the EAEU, issues of commerce, economic partnership and investment activities.
